The new Work Safely Protocol: Updated guidance for employers

A revised and updated Work Safely Protocol has now been published. It applies to all sectors and sets out the minimum health and safety measures required in every workplace to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is designed to facilitate the re-opening of workplaces following temporary closures and the ongoing safe operation of workplaces. Revision of the original Back to Work Safely Protocol was necessary to reflect the government’s Resilience and Recovery 2020 – 2021: Plan for Living with COVID-19 which was published in September and is due to remain in place until at least March 2021.

In this publication we highlight key updates and considerations for employers arising from the Work Safely Protocol.
