ESMA liquidity management

ESMA issued its final guidelines on liquidity stress testing in UCITS and AIFs on 2 September 2019. They will become effective on 30 September 2020.  You can read the A&L Goodbody publication about this here.

On 30 January 2020, ESMA announced a common supervisory action with national competent authorities on UCITS liquidity risk management.  You can read about how the Central Bank of Ireland plans to implement stage 1 of this UCITS liquidity assessment in the "Liquidity management" section of our Irish Funds radar.
